Introduction
         Generally, people are affected by the position, state and distance of the stellar and planetary bodies. For example:
  1. With the rising sun, people wake up and become active.
  2. With the setting sun, people feel the need to rest and therefore sleep.
  3. When it is wet season, people cultivate all kinds of crops.
  4. During the dry season, people sweat a lot and drink water often.
  5. At the time of harmattan or cold weather, people wear sweater or move about in rain coats or long suits.
  6. With natural disasters come untimely death, and loss of fortune.
  7. Famine brings hunger and starvation and diseases.
  8. When the earth is close to the sun, there is dry season. But, when the earth is far from the sun, there is wet season. When a person climbs a mountain, he experiences fatigue, because he is moving against the force of gravity. But, when he moves down a mountain or a slope, he finds the movement easy and enjoyable, because the force of gravity is carrying him down.
  9. Etc.
         In short, humanity is always affected by their immediate environments and happenings in remote places. Therefore, mankind has to know more about the stellar and planetary bodies, and be able to interpret the signals from them.

Meaning Of Astrology
         Astrology refers to the elaborate knowledge of the stellar consternations and intricate calculations aimed at accurate predictions of the present and future happenings.
         It aims at proving that there is a relationship between the large universe (macrocosm) and the little creatures (microcosm). It proves that there is a rhythm to life, which people call “time and tide”.

Yes, The Bible Bears Evidence of Astrology
         Both Old and New Testaments have clear evidences of Astrology. Jesus referred to it, confirming it where it is good and accurate.

1 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, "When it is evening you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red'; 3 and in the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. 4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign , and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah." And He left them and departed. Matthew 16:1-4

9 Behold, the day of the LORD comes,
Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger,
To lay the land desolate;
And He will destroy its sinners from it.
10 For the stars of heaven and their constellations
Will not give their light;
The sun will be darkened in its going forth,
And the moon will not cause its light to shine.

11 "I will punish the world for its evil,
And the wicked for their iniquity;
I will halt the arrogance of the proud,
And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
Isaiah 13:10,11

Today the world is experiencing climate change, and with it comes changes in the general life of people.

What Do People Want From Astrology?
         Generally, people want to:
  1. Understand the destiny of themselves, children or spouses.
  2. The astrological causes of sickness or influences on health. For example, people believe that the number of mad persons in the society increases with new moon phases.
  3. Know the reasons for not getting married or the causes of marriage problems.
  4. Know the best time to start business venture.
  5. Predict weather, such as rain, sunshine, wind, cold, etc. A good example is weather forecast by the meteorological centers.
  6. Etc.
